The beds were extremely comfy, the room was brand-new with a comfortable bed. I loved the nice decor of my room. The location was ideal, within walking distance of Legion Lake. There was a great restaurant relatively close to the hotel. Tbh, had a nice stay on vacation.
I didn't find pool, so was a little disappointed.

The Rocket Motel has a charming retro vibe with very clean accommodations. Owners Don and Brenda are good and friendly. While the room was a bit small and lacked coffee makers, the inviting atmosphere and proximity to dining options made up for it.

Loved how warm Don and Brenda were cute us into their little slice of the past. The room just had this retro vibe with red and white accents and was super clean, I mean if you can't appreciate good cleanliness then what are you even doing with your life?
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every single penny.

Had an awesome group trip with friends! The rooms were super clean and super comfy. We totally enjoyed exploring Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Just a heads up, there's no breakfast, but they always have good coffee and muffins available. For a retro vibe and friendly staff, this place is a must!
The only downside was the small room size, but we made it work. It wasn't a deal-breaker for us!
